The second quote at the bottom describes that we humans will gain the ability to modify ourselves as we wish at the last phase of the progress of the technology. But the quote also suggest that although it is possible to have something modify according to one's desire, the others as well are able to modify the one. Thus under the circumstance where people's attention is on the particular thing, not everyone's desire for modification is satisfied. For such reason, it has become difficult to figure out who would really be the one to be pleased with the modification he has done without any interruption from others.

The term 'the Law of unintended consequences' simply seemes to me that the decision you make for the sake of the matter causes the consequence that turns out to be in bad situation. The decision is made to make the circumstance better but the outcome results in a bad way that is not intended. Licking the lip constantly on the dry day, for example, will help give the lip some moisture. However, the constant licking will accelerate drying up of the lip and eventually its condition will get worse. To lick the lip would give misture to the lip in a short-term sight, but the lip will be dried up in the end. So even doing apparently profitable thing may lead to the worse outcome without any intention.

The thesis for my essay2 is the organ transplantation and the issues surrounding it. Trasnplanting organs has now become a little popular in Japan due to the revising of the law restricting it though, the number of patients who have actually been transplanted organs still remains low compare to the world. It accounts for several reasons  that are unique to Japan such as a traditional common understanding that the brain death is not a real death, or it was required to have a consent to donation from both the donator and the family. The issue arises from organ transplantation is organ trade, which is banned in many countries because of its unhumanitiness. Shown above, there are many problem about the matter, and I'll look into what could be done for those waiting for the organs and the new life.

I don't like the idea of "enhanced" people because they distingusih themselves from others as a mainsream and classify the others into either "Natural" or "The Rest". Since the standard is set on the "enhanced" people, laws and rules are on the constant change due to the rapid enhancement of people. The proceeding of revising the laws might not catch up with the change of enhanced people as they are upgraded every time they go home. The classification of people would also cause the new kind of rasim and the world will become just too messy and complex to live in.

One of the modifications done inside of human beings is in vitro fertilization and as the technology will eventually be developed, several matters would arise along with it. When pepole become capable of fixing genes of newborn baby, they would definitely attempt to "design" a child, and thus parents literally create a child as they like. However, having a baby is a precious event and some of the marvelous talent are gifted thing; artificially modified people have no appreciation to wonderful of nature but rather they could have dangerous idea of fixing whatever they don't like not only statistic things or so but also living creatures. The other thing is it would bring ethical issue or matter related identity such as 'who am I?' or 'what was I born for?' because genetically midified ones are creation of somebody else. Thus putting hands on human's enormous variety, each one of random individuality will be vanished and people will be in endless questioning of their exsistance.
