CA Blogging Assignment 4
I don't like the idea of "enhanced" people because they distingusih themselves from others as a mainsream and classify the others into either "Natural" or "The Rest". Since the standard is set on the "enhanced" people, laws and rules are on the constant change due to the rapid enhancement of people. The proceeding of revising the laws might not catch up with the change of enhanced people as they are upgraded every time they go home. The classification of people would also cause the new kind of rasim and the world will become just too messy and complex to live in.

返信削除Hmm, I also don't want to become a minority.. Can't there be a way in which the so-called 'naturals' and 'enhanced' and the 'rest' can all integrate though??
返信削除Your perspective on this issue seems very new and interesting as I had never thought that those enhanced people will the the majority and the world will revolve around them. But true, if that happens, new types of discrimination will arise. Like Mihiro said, there should be like a "middle way" in which people of all the kinds can live together harmoniously.
返信削除I agree that a new type of racism may occur in the future. The situation that the world will become more complex might come in reality.
返信削除Akiko: yeah. Those enhanced people would definitely think themselves superior to others with all the special abilities they got.
返信削除Miffy:seems like you wouldn't like to be the one of enhanced people? And there should be a solution for the possible upcoming racism but since the enhanced have the highest skills among people, how can it be possible to have 'the rest' be in the equal status as 'the enhanced'.
